Come Meet Your Loved Ones in New Social Distanced Visits

We are delighted to be able to introduce new Outdoor Visits and welcome friends and relatives back to Honey Lane once again.

We know how challenging these past few months have been for family members unable to visit loved ones. Our team has been working hard to put new safety guidelines in place to make socially distanced visits a possibility, with our residents’ ongoing safety and wellbeing at the heart of all our decision making.

We cannot wait for you to be reunited with your loved ones and we aim to support as many of our residents in receiving a visit from a family member or friend as soon as possible. So with this in mind, we’ve initially limited the number of pre-bookable slots to one visit per resident each week, just while we ease into these new measures. And to further protect our residents, for now, these visits will be for a maximum of two adults from the same household.

Family members will be reassured to know that any gifts or flowers they bring can be left with the Senior on duty and we will ensure they go through our infection control process before being passed on. And while the government guidelines of a 2-metre distance between visitors, loved ones and our team must be maintained at all times, we will also supply visitors with face masks to wear upon arrival – so you’ll certainly give your relatives a laugh to see you in face masks, at least!

We are all so excited to introduce these new steps so that we can welcome visitors to Honey Lane once again. So to book your visit or to ask any questions, please call us on 01992 718 558 and we will be happy to assist you, as always.

We’ve all missed you very much.
