Providing peace of mind for family and residents
At Honey Lane, nothing makes us happier than hearing that we have given a family back their peace of mind, knowing that their loved one is safe and happy. In order to give the best possible care, we use a variety of ways to regularly gather feedback from our residents and those closest to them. We listen intently to our residents and their families in our anonymous annual survey. Their feedback is deeply valued and used to continually improve our service.
This is the heartwarming response to our 2021 survey.
Compassionate, personalised care
Our skilled team receives on-going training and support so they can provide the quality, compassionate dementia care that residents deserve. We are thrilled that 100% of families agree that our team provides the care residents need, and most importantly would recommend Honey Lane to a friend. One relative told us: “The staff are excellent and I feel part of their family.”
Kindness, dignity and respect
100% of families said that their loved one is treated with kindness and compassion, dignity and respect, and that our team encourages residents to lead as independent a life as they are able to. We are delighted that all families surveyed felt that residents are encouraged to take part in hobbies of interest to them. One resident said: “Staff work so hard, everyone is absolutely lovely. I am very happy here and couldn’t think of anywhere better to stay!”
A happy home
We take great pride in our home feeling warm, homely, and like a family. 100% of both residents and families said our home and gardens are clean, tidy and well maintained. Our team curates a lively schedule of meaningful activities that encourage friendships and connections. One resident said their favourite aspect of life at Honey Lane is: “The friends I have made. I couldn’t pick a better place to stay. The staff are all very nice and down to earth. I am very happy here.”
Safety during Covid-19
During the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been our number one priority to keep residents safe and families regularly updated, so we are delighted that 100% of families agreed that staff have done all they can to keep residents safe during the pandemic. 100% also felt that the home team has supported residents and families to maintain relationships during this unprecedented time and have been kept up to date.
