Each year, we run a survey with our residents and families to hear directly from them: what we are getting right, and where there is room to grow. Caring at Honey Lane
The results from our latest survey at Honey Lane paint a clear and wonderful picture of a truly happy home. Every single resident told us they are happy living at Honey Lane, and 10 out of 10 relatives said they would recommend the home to a friend. Every family confirmed the team is capable of providing the care their loved one needs, and 100% of residents said the team treats them with kindness, dignity and respect.
Families described Honey Lane as “a happy place with happy staff,” telling us their loved ones have settled well and are genuinely content. Residents echoed this warmly, with one sharing, “I like it here. Everybody is nice to me. I enjoy the food. I feel safe. I like everything,” and another telling us, “Honey Lane feels like my home, staff are lovely and friendly.”
Daily Life
Life at Honey Lane is defined by warmth, patience and a genuine sense of belonging. Residents told us they feel looked after, and supported to enjoy life to the full, with one sharing, “Everyone has made me welcome. I feel looked after. I am enjoying the activities. I feel happy.”
Families told us the team goes above and beyond, describing staff as “absolutely lovely,” adding that “they truly care about everyone who lives there, treating them like family, and are so patient and understanding.”
Every family confirmed they are made to feel welcome when visiting and that they have the opportunity to be involved in their relative’s care. With 10 out of 10 relatives confirming the food is of good quality and choice, and 100% confirming their relative is encouraged to take part in hobbies. Honey Lane is a place where people feel at home.
